Trauma Education

Providing, facilitating, and supporting education across the Trauma System of Care is a primary function of the MTCSF. Our education program manages cost by establishing standardized course fees, working directly with course directors to ensure the highest level of course offerings, and monitoring course effectiveness and outcomes to adapt to ever-changing needs.  Working with our Level I Trauma Centers and the Mississippi State Department of Health, the staff at MTCSF communicates a consistent statewide message for trauma education. MTCSF provides educational offerings directly and coordinates with contracted course directors and education partners to meet trauma care professionals’ requirements and expectations.
